Sexy Sameera Reddy : From Sam to Sita

“I live in a virtual world nowadays. I wander in the mountains and valleys with lovelorn eyes. But yet, the man of my dreams is not a Bollywood hunk.”
So, who then? “It’s Lord Ram,” says Sameera Reddy. She goes on to add, “I am enacting a role of a quintessential Indian woman — Sita... with a dramatic twist.” What’s so Sameera about Sita, we ask? “Did you know Sita was a warrior?” asks the sultry actress. Obviously Sam’s in love with Sita’s character. She adds, “I have always believed that an Indian woman is an embodiment of strength and such is the animated role of Sita. She is a a warrior apart from the quiet wife.” Enjoying every nuance of a ‘grilling and thrilling’ animated experience in Mahayodha Rama, Sam wants to connect with kids and adults at the same time. Reminiscing her childhood days when her parents would insist Sam joins with her elder siblings Meghna and Sushma on a Sunday to watch the Ramayana on television, Sam says, “All those days have helped immensely.” An animated film is a different experience; Sam reveals that at the studios, she sits down and virtually pats the invisible deer, rabbits and fowls around. “There is nothing around, it’s pure imagination which is later translated into animation with all the creatures around,” she says. But that’s not all that Sam’s kicked about. “I am playing Kitty, who’s detective Karamchand’s secretary,” she reveals. She was a keen watcher of the carrot-chewing detective as a kid herself. So, these classic tele-serials are of great help to her today. And now for the hot look. Sam’s playing the steamy Laila in Race. There’s a lot of humour to her character in the film that Sameera alerts audience to watch out for. “I am romancing Paresh Rawal on screen. I sport a corporate look, wear high heels and tower over Paresh. I’ve never had as much fun in life ever,” she signs off.
