Mayawati breaks record by keeping CBI busy

Lucknow: Ever since the Mayawati took over as the Chief Minister of UP, she seems to have developed a strange obsession.
Obsession not just of building memorials in the name of B R Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram, but recommending CBI probes to the Centre.
After being at the receiving end of probes, Mayawati is running after the country's premier investigating agency with a chain of requests.
She has now referred the UP police recruitment scam to the CBI. Gone are the days when the mention of CBI would terrify her.
"They have themselves (BSP leaders) been the subject of CBI investigation and have decried its functioning,” says former CBI officer and UP’s ex-DGP, AKD Diwedi.
