Servant clubs ex-IAF officer to death

GURGAON: In yet another gruesome murder of a senior citizen by a domestic help, an 82-year-old former air force officer, Wing Commander (retd) S D Saxena, was clobbered to death by his 20-year-old servant in his DLF-II residence on Monday night. The accused, who belongs to Nepal, was arrested late on Tuesday evening from Delhi. He had been hired six months ago. Though the motive for the murder is not yet known, the servant, in what is being claimed as a signed confession letter addressed to the victim’s daughter, stated that he had to kill his master since there was a ‘threat to his life’ from the retired officer. Interestingly, after committing the murder, the servant, who has been identified as Rishi, slept in the servant quarters and left the house around 7.15am on Tuesday, according to the police.
