Did Abhi see red?

A blood red saree and her husband by her side, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ready to glow. Not even the maddening rush of her public engagements can make her lose her smile. Now is that thanks to professional success coming her way or love? “I always have wishes of my loved ones with me and that keeps me going. Yeah, I can say that I am doing absolutely fine,” smiles Aishwarya, as Abhishek prefers to stand on the periphery. So it is the togetherness? “Absolutely! Togetherness, whatever be the settings,” she answers, while in the city recently. But it has not been an easy journey? “Well, it never promised to be,” says Aishwarya with a smile. In midst of the interview, a horde of girls spot her and shouts of ‘Ash, Ash’ begin. She smiles politely as Abhishek gestures it is time to leave. A nod to hubby dearest and she goes on, “It is important to be a student everyday of your life. I am one and that is how I have learnt so far. I also know that there is more to learn. And I am sure with this attitude, the journey will continue. That’s because I believe it’s the journey that matters and not the destination. This belief has worked, at least for me.” That’s when Abhishek decides it is time to leave. He takes Ash by the hand and they are off. Just a sec, Mr and Mrs Bachchan, what about a picture? While Ash smiles for the camera, Abhishek would rather pass this time. “I am here for her,” is all that the suddenly-reticent man is ready to say. But another smile from Ash and the picture is clicked. However, Abhi left us wondering. Was his strong, silent act the result of a long day or whether Ash’s chemistry with a certain Hrithik Roshan in a recent flick responsible?
