Alba fears she’ll be 'ridiculed'

American actress Jessica Alba fears that critics would tell her off when she makes her Broadway debut in 2008.
The actress will be starring in David Mamet’s Speed the Plow, in a role which was made famous 20 years ago by Madonna. Despite being in the limelight for quite sometime, Alba still isn’t sure if she can handle the potential bad press. "Whether I do a good job or not, people will be nasty. Even Claire Danes, who’s a respected actress, got s**t (for Pygmalion)," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. "I don’t know if I feel like being ridiculed like that," she added.
